FAQ
Quality, care, and transparency — that’s what TOBEinsel stands for.
Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our courses and the TOBEinsel.
How much does a course cost?
You can find a detailed price overview on our Prices page. Single sessions are not available. Families with more than one child receive a 10% sibling discount when multiple children participate in courses at the same time.
How long does a course last?
Each course block includes 10 sessions of 60 minutes each (usually once a week). Holidays and public holidays are excluded. If TOBEinsel cancels a session, it will be rescheduled.
What if I miss a session?
Courses are closed groups. Missed sessions cannot be refunded or made up, but you may name a replacement participant. For baby and toddler courses, replacements must be within the same age range (up to 6 months older or younger).
Do courses take place during school holidays?
Yes, most of our courses continue during school holidays — except on public holidays and announced breaks.
Are the facilities accessible for strollers and wheelchairs?
Yes, our spaces are fully accessible via ramp and barrier-free.
What should I bring to class?
Comfortable clothing suitable for movement, a water bottle, and, depending on the course, a towel or blanket. You’ll find specific details in your course information.
Are changing rooms and showers available?
Yes, spacious changing areas and showers are available for all dry courses.
Can my child with disabilities participate?
Yes, our courses are inclusive. Please contact us in advance to discuss any special needs so we can support your child appropriately.
From what age can children participate?
The suitable age range for each course is listed on the corresponding course page.
Do you offer trial sessions?
We do not offer trial sessions, as children often need a few lessons to get used to the new environment. Our goal is to create a calm, consistent experience.
How many children are in each course?
Typically between 8 and 12 participants.
Can more than one parent attend a course?
Usually one accompanying adult per child may be present in the room; others may wait in the lounge area.
Does health insurance cover the course fees?
Children’s courses up to age 6 are not reimbursable as prevention courses. However, some insurers offer bonus programs — we can provide a stamp and signature for participation confirmation.
Can my child move directly from a Spreepferdchen course to swimming lessons?
Yes, once your child is ready, we’ll add you to the waiting list for aquaphine’s swimming courses. Please note that waiting times may apply.
When should I arrive for class?
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the course begins, especially if changing is required.
